Red Smoothie

Looking to boost your immunity and improve your energy?

This is the right one!


Ingredients (serving 1)

Protein & Carbohydrates

  • 145 g Beet Root

  • 1 Apple


Herbs, Spices & others


  • Basil or Peppermint (fresh) - add according to your taste

  • Ginger (fresh) - add according to your taste

  • Lemon Juice - add according to your taste

  • Chili or Tabasco (optional) - add according to your taste

  • Water (50 ml) - or add according to your taste



Preparation Steps

1 Wash all vegetables & herbs

2 Place all ingredients to blender

3 Blend until smooth , add water if needed

4 Enjoy!!!



Tips

¨ If you like your Smoothie colder, you have two ways to do that: Freeze the vegetables or buy frozen vegetables or add 1/2 a cup of ice, to your smoothie

¨ Instead of beetroot, you can also mix kale, kale & spinach You can mix and match according to your taste, but keep in mind: follow the 60/40 formula (60% fruits/ vegetables to 40% leafy greens), to avoid a few smoothie-fails.
