Apple Tuna Salad

I know what you're thinking: tuna and apple??

Promise you, the texture and taste combo of apple and tuna is great.


Ingredients

Serving: 1


Protein & Carbohydrates

  • 125 g Tuna - drain

  • 1 Appel - chopped

  • 100 g Salad - wash, big leaves

  • 30 g Celery - finely chopped


Herbs & Spices

  • Coriander or Basil (fresh) - chopped finely, add according to your taste

  • Lemon Juice - add according to your taste

  • Chilli (optional) - dry flakes, add according to your taste

  • Paprika (optional) - add according to your taste

  • Garlic Powder (optional) - ground, add according to your taste

  • Salt & Pepper - add according to your taste


Preparation Steps

  1. Drain water from can and place tuna in a bowl

  2. Put finely chop celery, apple and all other ingrediencies to the tuna

  3. Serve over bed of salad greens

Tips

  • Try instead the apple with Mango, it also a yummy texture

  • Always have a stock of tuna cans at home, because is an awesome source of protein for, when chicken breast gets boring.
